Function
The recording function in Halocline Performance allows you to record your movement sequences and hand movements as you play through your process. You can replay this recording at any time and analyze it using various visualizations, such as the occupied space.
The occupied space gives you an indication of where and how long you were in the area during your recording. These different positions are indicated by purple squares. The darker the color of the square, the longer the time spent at this position during the entire recording. The determination of the positions is based on the movements of the "body joints" of the avatar.
Instructions
Menu > Evaluation > Replay > Visualizations > Occupied space
First select a recording from your list or create a new one.
In the replay window, click on the visualization bar at the right edge and activate the occupied space function there.
When you activate the visualization, the most intensive movement positions are displayed as purple squares. The more intense the coloration of the position or the square, the longer you spent at this position during the recording.
To see the entire motion history or to further restrict it, use the slider under the occupied space menu item. Grab and drag the marker in the desired direction to apply the filter.
To keep the avatar clearly visible during replay, the squares immediately near it are displayed transparently.
Tip:
Use the height teleport and look at your work area from above. This gives you a good overview of your position during the recording.
You can export your recording and the range of movement as a tabular report from Halocline Performance. In the report you will see an overview of times and distances of your running and grabbing paths.
