With the Beta Switch function you can quickly switch between Halocline and Halocline Beta.

Halocline Beta

Beta refers to a pre-release version or a development stage of features and tools, in which a part of new features has already been implemented and released to selected customers with the intention to test content, added value and usability in advance.

Start screen > Settings > Beta On/Off

Until now, Beta users have received an individual installation file, which resulted in Halocline Layout & Performance and Layout & Performance Beta being two independent applications on the computer. Starting with the Release 2021.2, the standalone beta application is integrated into Halocline Layout & Performance.

If you have a beta license, Layout & Performance will automatically start in beta mode. To switch back from the beta version to the regular version, which is available for all users, open the settings in the Halocline start screen.

In the Beta tab, click "Off" in the dropdown menu to turn off the beta features. When saving the changes, the software must be restarted. To do this, click on Okay and Exit and then restart the application as usual. The beta functions are now no longer visible. You can enable the beta functions again in the same way.
