The recording feature in Halocline Performance allows you to record your head movement and hand movements as you play through your process. You can then play back this recording at any time and analyze it using various visualizations (Spaghetti, occupied space and posture).
Before you start your recording, you can calibrate your body. This will allow you to take a more precise recording of the individual body parts and their movements. To calibrate yourself, go to the "evaluation" tab in the menu, click on "calibrate" and follow the instructions.
Menu > Evaluation > Record
To start a recording, select the record function in the menu. Follow the instructions in the window that appears in front of you and extend both arms straight forward. Press the trigger to map the set calibration to your body. A countdown will automatically start down from three to let you know when the recording starts.
While the recording function is active, your every body movement and action is recorded. Your controllers are displayed in the form of hands. Your body positions are represented by an avatar in the replay.
Menu > Evaluation > Stop
To stop recording, use the same button as to start recording.
The status of the button shows you which mode you are currently in. When you stop recording, the replay window opens automatically. Here you can find your current and older recordings as well as some recording functions and visualizations.
