Reach distance configurator

You can create your own grip space avatars to check your planning with different body sizes. You can also change the dimensions of the gripping spaces to apply different ergonomic guidelines.

  1. In the desktop app, select the Library tab in the upper right corner.
  2. Click the Reach Distance Avatars category on the left.
  3. Click on "New Reach Distance Avatar" in the upper right corner.

 

Configuration

In the left column of the configurator you can set the avatar's name, gender and height. On the left you can see a preview of the values with which the models will be created.

 

Visualisierungen

Automatic filling: The dimensions of the gripping space spheres and the heights of the working planes are calculated automatically according to the DIN 33402-2 and DIN EN ISO 14738:2009-07 standards and cannot be edited.

Manual input: Select this option to change the values of the visualization. Specify the optimum and maximum working area (reach space to the front) and define the preferred working height (working planes).
