Create screenshot in VR

If you want to take a screenshot of your workstation, work area or even an object you have created, this is possible in two ways:

  • Using the Halocline screenshot tool,

  • Creating a screenshot using the keyboard shortcut of the VR controllers.

Instructions

Using the Halocline Screenshot Tool

  1. Open the Halocline VR menu 

  2. Click on the screenshot tool in the main menu

  3. Now you can take a screenshot of your desired object

  4. You can find the screenshot on your computer under: 
    C:\Users\%username%\Documents\Halocline\Screenshots

     

Creating a screenshot with the shortcut of the VR controllers

You can also create screenshots directly from VR. Follow the steps below:

  1. Press the system key (see image, key 3) and the trigger key (see image, key 7) simultaneously.

  2. Save the screenshot in the following folder on your computer:

    C:\Programme (x86)\Steam\userdata\[Steam Benutzernummer]\760\remote\0\screenshots
    Tip:

    If you selected a user-defined installation folder, navigate to it and look for the following subfolder:

    ...\Steam\userdata\[Steam Benutzernummer]\760\remote\0\screenshots
