Function

The web viewer is an easy way to view Halocline Layout designed work areas via any internet browser on a computer or mobile device. This allows to quickly discuss layout planning and work area design with relevant people at other locations or in the home office much easier and without setting up a VR setup.

This feature is currently still a beta functionality.

Instructions

Preparation

To prepare files for use in the Web Viewer, first start Halocline Layout and select any variant of a work area here. Open the menu in the variant view and export the variant in .boxstation format.

Starting the Web Viewer

Open the portal.halocline.io page to open the Web Viewer and log in with your access data.

If you already have uploaded variants in .boxstation format, they will be displayed here.

Upload files

To upload a new variant, click on "Add Workarea" in the upper left corner. Select the desired area in your folder system and click on "Upload".

To display a station, simply click on the desired file.

Hint:
The desired file should not contain any special characters and umlauts in its file name.

If you want to delete the file, click on the "Recycle Bin Icon" at the end of the file name.

Control on the desktop

Use the arrow keys or the W, A, S, D keys to move through the working area. The Q and E keys allow you to change the height. You can adjust the angle of view by holding down the left mouse button.

Click on "Workareas" in the upper left corner to return to the main menu.

Control on a mobile device

Click the arrows on the right to rotate the camera. Click the arrows to the left to move back and forth.

Currently, it is not possible to change the height in the mobile version.
