Rebranding, new UI & support page
In the course of our rebranding planning mode and assembly mode become the stages Layout and Performance. Further information can be found at: www.halocline.io/historie
Both the start screen and the user interface in VR appear in a new look. In addition, you can now find help and information about existing features on our new support page: support.halocline.io
Layout
Variant management
To get a better overview of different planning concepts and to be able to evaluate them in the overall layout, you can now save different variants for each workspace.
If you want to go back to a previous save state, you can do this in the Manage window. Here you can either reset the save state for this variant or create a new variant from a previous planning status.
All functions that you could select per workspace are now possible for variants.
Configuring work areas
Creating work areas and adjusting the boundaries in the shopfloor is now possible via the desktop. You can easily define shape, dimensions and position in the shopfloor with a few clicks. You can change these limits per variant. You can also define the starting point in VR to land directly at the right place without having to navigate through the entire shopfloor. Make sure that there are no objects at this position.
2D Template Scaling Tool
To get the right size of 2D templates faster, a scaling help is now available. By clicking, the start and end point of a known length can be defined in the template. Entering the length automatically scales the image to the desired size.
Clock in menu
Finally, don't miss any more appointments because you are too immersed in the virtual world. From now on, the current time is displayed in the menu.
New keyboard
A new keyboard is now available for each text input in VR. Here you have the possibility to paste texts from the clipboard and thus transfer names faster.
Performance
Performance Features
The assembly mode turns into the Halocline Performance stage and now contains all functionalities that were previously part of our ErgoVR research project.
Recording and playback of assembly playthroughs
Save the process playthroughs in the form of motion recordings. With the help of these recordings you can discover optimization potentials and compare different process playthroughs or layout concepts.
Spaghetti diagrams
Visualize the grasp and walk paths in the assembly process to uncover and reduce unnecessary repetition of movements.
Visualization of the occupied space
Recognize where the Montour moves most frequently, so that you know what place for him:her has to be planned and where disturbances by other processes can occur.
Hand-over-shoulder and bend display
Find out directly in context where ergonomics can still be optimized by immediately identifying the two most common problems: Work above shoulder height and work below the knees.
Tabular export
Export the process evaluation as an Microsoft Excel file to use it as a summary or as a basis for further analysis.
