With the Adjust outline function, you can specify the boundaries of work areas and display them visually. This helps on the one hand in the 2D view for a better division and overview of the shopfloor and on the other hand to define the available space in VR precisely.
Adjust outline via the 2D interface
To make an adjustment, select the Adjust outline option in the start screen via the 3-point menu of the relevant variant.
The 2D editor will open. You can now use it to adjust the borders as you wish.
Select any point at the corners of the blue outline and move it to the desired position.
If you want to achieve certain dimensions more quickly, you can enter them in the "X" and "Y" input fields at the top.
Rotate the outline using the arrow gizmo or enter the corresponding value in the "Rotation" input field.
Create additional points to create shapes other than rectangles. To do this, click on the line to create a new point, you can touch it again and move it.
To delete points, click on the desired point and press the "Del" key on your keyboard.
Move the entire variant using the "Move" gizmo in the center. Note that already built objects will be moved as well. This way you can relocate variants in your shopfloor. If you only want to move the border without content you can touch the lines directly and move them.
Automatically adjust the outline to the smallest possible rectangle around your built objects in this variant by pressing the button with the square on it. This way you can also see how much space you have just allocated.
Adjust outline in VR
Menu > Settings > Adjust outline
The outline can also be adjusted automatically in VR. The smallest possible rectangle is drawn around the objects planned in the work area. To do this, go to "Settings" in the "Main menu" and then select the "Adjust outline" function in the settings window. The borders of the active area will now adjust so that it encloses all built objects in your current variant.
