Function
Work areas represent individual sections in a shopfloor. Depending on how you have structured your shopfloor, you can recreate this structure in Boxplan (e.g. cost centers / manufacturing technologies / work steps).
In VR, the work area activated for processing is displayed with a blue border. Surrounding work areas are grayed out and non-interactive to provide better performance and facilitate the division of work between different people.
You can show or hide inactive stations via the settings menu. Deactivating this function can lead to a better VR experience when the hardware is heavily loaded. In the settings menu, you can also find the function "Adjust outlines" and "Reassign selected objects" if you want to do this directly in VR.
