If your VR system has not yet been set up on your computer, there are a few setup steps that need to be completed first. In order to use Halocline with the VIVE or Valve Index, it is necessary to install SteamVR on your computer.
SteamVR is a runtime that connects VR software to VR hardware. Below we provide you with a setup guide.
SteamVR is required to set up your VIVE.

- Follow the displayed instructions and create a Steam account if necessary.
- Connect the Vive to your computer and switch on the base stations.
- Start SteamVR and perform the room survey the first time you start it.

Requirement: Internet access + account at Steam must be deposited. If necessary, Steam must be unblocked by your IT in advance, in case unblocked ports or an anti-virus program blocks Steam.
