To get started faster in Halocline and take advantage of VR planning as quickly as possible, you can use a template for your workstation.
It is especially helpful in all early stages as it allows you to do rough planning quickly while still maintaining a high level of detail for precise work. This is especially helpful for workshops as you can quickly prepare the environment.
Where can I find the modules?
You can find the modules in our public library. There are two types of modules:
- Objects from which the environment can be built, e.g. conveyors. You can easily design complex work systems directly from these building blocks without having to design all the elements yourself.
- Workstations with which larger areas can be planned directly, e.g. entire work areas or material storage areas.
How do I use the modules?
You can use all modular elements in two ways, depending on the situation and requirements:
- Change size: The entire group can be extended or shortened on one axis. This is particularly useful for tables, workbenches and similar objects.
- Place & Duplicate: Many modular objects fit directly unchanged as a module. In such situations, you can create several of them directly. For example, you can create a 5 m long conveyor belt from 5 duplicates of the conveyor belt module.
What do I use the modules for?
- Rough planning: By using modular workstations, you can visualize the entire environment in more detail even in the early stages, such as rough planning. This is very helpful for presentations because the audience can find their way around the data more easily.
- Optimally prepare workshops: Use the modular objects to quickly adapt the workstation to the needs of the workshop. With a well-prepared template, you can start immediately with the essential content of the workshop without losing time setting it up.
Thinking in templates
A template allows you to set up recurring workstations with just a few clicks. So you can get started right away without having to set up each module individually. You can start with our modules and then use your library with your own standard elements in other projects. This makes you and everyone involved in the planning process faster.
