Meta Quest VR headsets can be used with a PC either via cable (Quest Link) or wirelessly (Quest AirLink). The wired solution provides a stable and reliable connection, but the cable limits freedom of movement. A wireless connection increases freedom of movement, but can be less stable and heavily depends on the existing WLAN infrastructure. To address this issue, Meta has developed a dedicated adapter for Quest AirLink.
The AirBridge Wireless Adapter is a practical accessory for Meta Quest. It allows you to connect your standalone VR headsets directly to your PC without cables. This connection is made via a high-performance and low-latency, dedicated point-to-point WLAN connection.

Best Practices for Using the Air Bridge Adapter
- Connection Start: Start the Air-Link connection before you start VR.
- Connection Setup: Establishing the connection takes some time (progress will be displayed).
- Security: During setup, you must secure the connection with a password. This password must be entered with every new connection, similar to a normal WLAN connection.
- Internet Access: While the headset is connected over Air Bridge, it does not have internet access. However, the PC remains connected to the internet as usual.
