Names for exported parts and assemblies

When you export a part or assembly from Halocline Assembly, they will now be found in the Halocline library with their specified name.

Layout

Visual appearance & higher frame rate

We changed the use of shadows in the VR scene.
As a default setting, you now get a more three-dimensional impression and benefit from a smoother display of the image, since less processing power is required. 

Moving objects to other variants

It is now possible to move selected objects to another variant of the same workarea via the settings menu in VR. 

Update measurement

By adapting the measurement tool, it is now easier to perform more accurate measurements. 

Update reach distances

When placing the avatars, you can rotate them using the lower thumb function. You can now specify whether the avatars should be visible or not in the settings menu under View → Reach distance. We have also adjusted the collision boxes to place the avatar more accurately.

Screencast UI

You can now also show controller controls in the desktop overlay of Layout and Performance. This allows you to better understand what button the person is pressing in VR and, for example, provide better assistance.

Performance

Improved hand models and interaction

The hand models are now the same as in Halocline Assembly. This allows for more accurate interaction especially with smaller parts. Also, we have adjusted the interaction point and you can now grab parts with the grip button on the controllers.

Update menu

With this version come some UI updates. You can notice this, for example, in the recording window and the sound effects that have been added.

Tabular report new format

The tabular report is now exported as an .xlsx file.
